Then, click on the small magnifying glass that is situated in the right corner of the frame; you shall see all the results according to your criteria.
3) The last possibly is to simply visit our site and click on the detail or bid at an action tab. This option shall suggest you to see all the goods of a same dossier.
How can I check the articles I am interested in?
In order to be as transparent as possible, Faillites.info suggests, for every good offered for sale on the site, the possibility to see the products.
Visits shall be conducted either during the "open house day" either by appointment. All the related information: dates and times... are indicated in the advertisement.
We strongly recommend you to come to these open house days to see the actual state of the suggested goods. All the articles are sold without a warranty, they are neither returned nor exchanged, and this, even if the description that is found on our site is not scrupulously similar to the state or actual compliance of the subject.
First of all, in order to be able to make an auction, you must be registered and logged in to our site.
You have the possibility of making an auction either for a single item, for several or for all the lots of a sale.
First, when you are on the home page and click on the "detail" tab of a sale, you arrive in a page containing all the information for this sale, namely:
- the number of batches composing it
- the auction for all the goods
- dates & addresses of visits and collection of goods
- the date of the end of the sale
- and other information deemed relevant.
At the bottom of this page are all the assets related to this sale.
When you have found an item that interests you, you click on either: "Detail" or "Bid". You will arrive on the specific page of this article with all its photos, sheets, descriptions, ...
You can, therefore, encode the amount of your bid in the box to the right of "Your bid" and confirm your amount with the purple button "Bid".
Information under your auction gives you the final amount you will be billed. All prices on our site are exclusive of VAT (21%), there are no other charges.
If you wish to be kept informed of the evolution of the price of a good without making a bid, then you will click on the symbol in the shape of heart. Once done, this good will be in your "Tracked lots" list in your Member Area. You will also receive a reminder email before the sale closes.
When you enter your bid, you have the possibility to choose between maximum bid & fixed bid.
Here is the difference between these two types of auctions:
- Maximum bid:
You indicate the maximum amount you wish to pay for a lot. The system will automatically outbid by € 1 when another person places a higher bid; and this, as long as your maximum offer is not reached. Only the price of the "current auction" will be invoiced and not necessarily the maximum price.
example: the starting price of an item is 100 €, you enter a maximum bid of 200 €.
another customer makes a bid at 120 €, the site will automatically increase the bid for you at 121 €. If another customer enters a bid of 150 €, the site will automatically increase the bid to 151 € for you. If there is no more bid, we will charge you € 151, even if your maximum bid was € 200
- Fixed bid:
You enter a single amount for a lot. If someone else makes a higher bid than yours, you will need to place a new bid again to remain the top bidder.
How can I be kept informed when my auction is exceeded?
You will not receive an automated email.
To be kept informed, all you need to do is check the box "I want to be notified by e-mail when my bid is exceeded".
Each time a higher bid than yours is entered for this item by another customer, you will receive an email informing you.
If you no longer wish to receive this information, simply return to this lot and uncheck this same box.
During a sale, if a maximum or fixed bid is entered in the last minute of the stopwatch for an item, then the stopwatch of the sale and all the lots that compose it is extended by 1min. This will be repeated until there is no more encoded bid.
What happens at the end of the sale?
As soon as the sale is completed, the advertisement will be included in the sales calendar under the heading "completed sales".
You will nevertheless be able to see the lots for which you have made an offer in your Member Area. The prices offered must be validated either by Faillites.info or by the curator or liquidator before the purchase orders can be made. As long as the validation is not effective, the items for which you have the best bid can be found in your member's area in the tab "pending auctions validation".
All items are sold without warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged, even if the description on our site is not scrupulously similar to the actual condition or conformity of the item. All auctions via the site are considered irrevocable. Items are sold in the condition they are in at the time of the visit. Faillites.info reserves the right to cancel the sale of a good or to withdraw any article if it is really necessary.
All customers who have won one or more lots will receive their order form by email with payment information.
When the file is closed, all invoices relating to purchases will also be sent to you by email and will be available in your member area.
How can I collect the acquired goods?
The places to collect your belongings are always at the same place as that of the visits; either in our warehouse or at the company headquarters.
We ask you to respect the dates and times of collection as much as possible. As a reminder, these are described in the email accompanying your order form. For any problem relating to the removal of your goods, we will ask you to contact us as soon as possible.
If you do not have to be present during this meeting, additional costs could be invoiced to you if your goods were to be collected by us.
All costs relating to the removal of the goods acquired are the responsibility of the purchaser (van rental, dismantling, etc.). We point out that no machines or tools will be made available to you for the dismantling of your items.
Therefore, we ask you to provide all the staff & equipment necessary for the dismantling and transport of your items.
I see a category called "Unsold items", what is it?
This category includes all the lots which did not find buyers during the auction.
If you want to buy one of these items, you have two options:
- or wait until they are put back on sale.
- or contact us by email and send us your proposal. If the price offered is that requested on the site, the order form will be sent to you directly. If the proposed price is lower, then your proposal will have to be analyzed and you will be kept informed by email or telephone.
Simply click on “Log out” at the top right of the site.
